In our experience a great deal of learning can be achieved by presenting people with an appropriate level of challenge. The effect is to develop latent, underused skills and talents which, back in the workplace, will help people to perform. Our learning ethos is based on "challenge by choice", following our belief that people do not learn effectively in dangerous or stressful situations.
